Last updated: 24 October 2026 · Version 2.1 · Covers raptorbitai.com and the RaptorBit AI workspace.
Sections
1. What this policy covers
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies, local storage keys and similar technologies we and our subprocessors use when you visit raptorbitai.com, read the RaptorBit Insights blog or use the signed-in workspace. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
2. What cookies and local storage are
Cookies are tiny text files a website asks your browser to store so it can remember something about you. Local storage is a similar mechanism built into modern browsers. Some are strictly necessary (e.g. keeping you logged in); others are optional (e.g. counting unique visitors).
3. Categories of cookies we use
- Strictly necessary — authentication, CSRF protection, load-balancer stickiness, cookie-consent state.
- Functional — language preference, dashboard layout memory, “remember me” tokens.
- Analytics — anonymised page-view counting, performance measurement. Only loaded after your consent.
- Marketing — we do not use third-party advertising cookies at this time. If that changes, we will update this document and ask again for your consent.
4. A full table of cookies in use
| Name | Purpose | Category | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
| rbt_session | Keeps you signed in to the workspace | Strictly necessary | Session |
| rbt_csrf | Protects submitted forms from cross-site request forgery | Strictly necessary | Session |
| rbt_consent | Stores your cookie-consent choices | Strictly necessary | 12 months |
| rbt_lang | Remembers your preferred interface language | Functional | 12 months |
| rbt_layout | Remembers your dashboard layout preferences | Functional | 6 months |
| rbt_analytics_id | Anonymous visit counting (first-party, cookie-less fallback where possible) | Analytics | 13 months |
| wordpress_logged_in_* | WordPress native authentication cookie for staff admin area | Strictly necessary | Session / 14 days |
5. Managing consent
On your first visit from the EEA, UK, Switzerland or Canada we show a consent banner. You can accept all, reject non-essential, or review categories individually. You can change your choice at any time by clicking “Cookie settings” in the footer.
6. Browser controls
You can also control cookies via your browser:
- Chrome — Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data.
- Firefox — Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
- Safari — Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
- Edge — Settings → Cookies and site permissions.
Deleting or blocking strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the workspace, including sign-in.
7. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal where legally recognised: if your browser sends GPC, we treat it as a valid opt-out of non-essential tracking even if you have not interacted with the consent banner. The legacy “Do Not Track” header is no longer standardised; we do not act on it alone.
8. Updates to this policy
We will update this page whenever the cookie inventory changes. The version date at the top always reflects the current state. For material changes we will ask you for consent again.
